Display advertising is one of the web’s oldest marketing strategies and is sometimes looked at with scepticism by those in the community who have had less than positive returns from the technique. Despite the vocal minority, it is nevertheless an advertising format that continues to thrive. Take Europe, for example. Total spend in the sector is predicted to hit $17.3 billion across France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK by the end of the year.
